News & Events

Registration is still open for Fall 2019-2020. 
It is not too late to register! There are still spaces available in our Ballet-Tap combination classes, Musikgarten, Song & Dance as well as our Group Vocal Techniques and private piano lessons.   Please contact CJ at 336.549.2228 for more information.

JDRF KICK-OFF WEEK, October 1 - October 8
Each class during the week will be given handouts regarding our plans up until the Walk and will also be given "shoes" that you will be able to sell for $1 and put up around the studio!

JDRF One Walk! - November 2 

Our team “Greensboro Performing Arts” is walking to create a world without type 1 diabetes (T1D).  This disease hits close to home for us here at GPA; We have students, as well as faculty family members, affected by this disease. Living with Type 1 Diabetes can be a difficult journey.  Please join me and your teachers as we work to change lives in our community and help create a world WITHOUT TYPE 1 DIABETES!

Joining is easy!

  • Register at  Join team: Greensboro Performing Arts

  • For only a dollar, write your name on a "shoe" and post on the wall in your class to show your support!

  • Or, Set a fundraising goal, create a personal page and ask your family, friends, and neighbors to donate to your JDRF One Walk fundraising efforts. You can even invite them to walk with you on the Greensboro Performing Arts team!

  • Join us at JDRF One Walk, at Country Park and celebrate our team’s achievement surrounded by people like you who want to change the future for all those affected by T1D.

  • For JDRF, Amanda Toomey have created a Kate Spade basket for raffle. It is a $230 dollar value. A purse, an insulated cup, beautiful “Thank You” notes, and clever adorable post-its. Tickets are 5 dollars! It will be displayed in the lobby. Come take a peek!

Suzanne Vandergrift (Founder of GPA) traveled to New York for her 10th year, Zena Rommett Floorbarre Re-Certification!

Victoria LeBaron attended the 25th annual Musikgarten Festival in Charlotte!

Abigail Davidson and Suzanne Vandergrift traveled to Chicago to attend the Giordano Jazz week-long workshop.

Garland Vandergrift formed a new company call Baseline Diagnosics this September to provide baseline EEG scans (pre-concussion screening) for athletes.  Visit his new website at for more information. 


Floorbarre Fridays!

Register today for a Zena-Rommett Floorbarre class specifically for adults. The class is taught by our Founder, Suzanne Vandergrift and will be a great way to kick start your weekend. 

Fridays from 9:00am - 10:00am
