GPA’s Summer Dance Intensive provides multi-disciplinary training in classical ballet technique, pre-pointe & pointe, jazz, modern, tap, in addition to daily dance wellness classes in Rommett Floorbarre, flexibility, yoga & pilates. Weekly intensives are structured around a rigorous leveled curriculum with tailored progressive training for individual growth in order to develop balanced, well-rounded dance artists with solid technical proficiency.  We believe that nurturing expertise and discipline fosters our great appreciation and love for dance. The difference between ordinary and extraordinary is that little “extra.”  We highly recommend students continue weekly technique classes before intensive begins.

• Weekdays: 9:00am - 5:00p | Register by Week Options
• Ages 9 - 25 years
• Beginning to Advanced Levels  | Classical Ballet, Jazz, Contemporary
• Placement evaluation and/or faculty recommendation required
• All classes by GPA’s professional faculty and guest artists
• Progressive Training for Intensives at GPA begins with BEG at Level 2 with 3 plus years prior foundation classes.  Novice Beginners are to enroll in GPA’s Foundations Dance Camp and setup an individual assessment and track plan.

DANCE INTENSIVE FOR MUSICAL THEATRE

*Novice Prerequisite: June 12 - June 16

LEVEL 2

LEVEL 5-6 | ADVANCED

*Mandatory enrollment for participation with GPA Young Artist Performance Company.  If student is progressing up a level, there is a mandatory 3-week intensive requirement. Company members must take a minimum of 5 technique classes prior to intensives.  The price of these classes is included in the package price if a student registers for 3 weeks by March 15.  The Guest Artist Series, soon to be announced, is not included in this package price.
