The Piano Story in Two Parts

On October 21st at 6p and 22nd at 2p, join us for "A Piano Story," on the history of the piano told through beautiful music, silent films and fun! Attend one or both of these fabulous parts to the story!

Part I - Sat October 21 at 6pm
Featuring the silent movie “Cops” where Dr Lynne Haeseler will be playing the piano accompaniment for the film. We'll start with the invention of the piano and end with an ice cream truck celebration! Admission: $5 per person

Part II - Sun October 22 at 2pm
Featuring performances from some of GPA's piano students as we wish a huge Happy Birthday to one of the greatest pianists and influential teachers in piano history—Franz Liszt. We will highlight the evolution of piano performance and virtuosic mastery. Program ends with Dr. Haeseler performance of Liszt “Mephisto Waltz” and birthday cake Admission: $5 per person
